Quick answers to the most common Be a Lucky Block questions.
Be a Lucky Block is a Roblox game where you play as a Lucky Block. You walk onto a treadmill ramp, get purchased by a computer, and get "cracked open" — transforming into a random Brainrot character. You then escape guards, return to your base, and place the Brainrot for passive Income Per Second (IPS).
Search "Be a Lucky Block" on Roblox or visit the game page directly. Once in, redeem codes RELEASE and ZEUS first for free Brainrots, then start doing short runs on the near route to learn the mechanics. Check our Beginner Guide for step-by-step instructions.
Brainrots are the characters you collect when a Lucky Block is opened. Each has a rarity (Common → OG) and generates IPS when placed on your base. Higher rarity = more IPS. You can also fuse 3 of the same rarity to get one of the next tier.
IPS stands for Income Per Second. It's the passive cash your placed Brainrots generate — even when you're offline! Higher-rarity Brainrots and more base slots (from rebirth) = more IPS. Use our Income Calculator to optimize your setup.
Yes! Be a Lucky Block is completely free to play on Roblox. There are optional game passes and Robux purchases, but everything (including all Lucky Blocks and rebirths) can be earned through gameplay.

Rebirth resets your cash and most progress but gives permanent cash/luck multipliers, extra Brainrot base slots, and exclusive gear. It's the core progression mechanic. See our Rebirth Guide for full details.
As soon as you meet the minimum requirements! The multiplier compounds, so delaying costs you more than it saves. The only exception is if you're about to get a specific Brainrot you need.
You lose most Brainrots, but you can save some by placing them in Fusion/Mutation machines before rebirthing. Plan ahead and protect your best ones!
Currently 9 rebirth levels, going up to 10x Cash multiplier and +18 total extra Brainrot slots. Use the Rebirth Planner to plan your path.
Go to the Trading Hub zone, walk up to another player, click Trade, select Brainrots to offer, review the trade, and both players confirm. Always use the in-game system — never drop items. See our Trading Guide.
Check Brainrot rarity tiers — higher rarity = higher value. Use our trading value chart and ask in Discord if unsure. If a deal seems too good to be true, it's probably a scam.
Yes, scams exist. Never "trust trade," always verify both sides before confirming, and watch for quick-swaps at the last second. See our scam prevention tips.
Yes, the game auto-saves your progress to Roblox's data store. Your Brainrots, cash, rebirth level, and upgrades are all saved. If you experience issues, try rejoining the game.
Yes! Brainrots placed on your base generate IPS even when you're offline. The cash accumulates and is available when you log back in.
